ENERGIC OD project and two of its applications (GeoPan Pro and GeoPan Light’s instance Zaragoza Histórica) were presented last 7th July at the “Digital Preservation and Continuity in the Cultural Context and Electronic Administration” summer course organized by Universidad de Zaragoza.
The objectives of the course were to raise awareness of digital preservation issues and present models and technological solutions to address digital preservation and continuous access to historic information stored in archives in digital format. The course was attended by 30 students, most of them archivists in active working in public administrations.
In one of the sessions of this course, the ENERGIC OD project was presented, together with the two applications that have focused in putting into value digital historical information: GeoPan Pro and the Zaragoza instance of GeoPan Light (Zaragoza Histórica). The apps were very well received, and students had the opportunity of using and evaluating them.
